Don’t worry. I promise I’ll call you back straight away.
此处,I’ll call you 不能用I’m calling you 或I am going to call you 代替。
1、for promising action;
2、for making a likely/unlikely prediction;
3、for declaring a temporary or unplanned decision;
I promise I’ll call you…… 但是,此句子前面已经有promise了,所以限制了后面不可使用be going to,也不能用I’m calling you……。
而Be going to+ verb to emphasize a planned decision or intention,即强调计划好的决定或强调意愿,属于比较主观的表示。
After that, I’m going to have a rest in my room before this afternoon’s session starts.
这里的be going to 就不能改为will。
而Present continuous for describing future planned arrangements.
The train arrives in Beijing at ten o’clock tomorrow.
Future continuous refers to future events which are fixed and can be confirmed:
Security will be opening the building at eight tomorrow instead of nine.
Security will open the building at eight tomorrow.
Future prefect says that something will end by a certain time in the future:
I will have graduated from the university by July, 2015.
一般现在时;
现在进行时(某些动词可用);
一般将来时;
将来进行时;
将来完成时;
be going to ,be (about) to 等短语。
所以要牢记will的三个用法,be going to 的两个用法。
A: Would you like to go for a drink this evening?
B: I’m sorry I can’t. I’m having dinner with some clients.
‘m having 是答案。但我认为这里用’ll be having, am having, am going to have ,’ll have,am about to have这5种都可以,意思偏重稍有不同,却都可以解释得通。
I’ll have dinner with some clients.
